I don't RP Voice the usual way. He is 100% a disembodied voice on the radio, and he will never reveal himself. Even the location of the building he works in is a mystery.
However, station contact information is publicly available, he will happily correspond with your character through any possible means they might contact him by, from the mundane to the bizarre. On slow news days he will also sometimes conduct a live on-air interview of a random NV citizen by hijacking their radio, TV, phone, or magical scrying device. Voice is an enormous gossip hound and is always willing to have a chat. If you want your character to have some kind of interaction with him, feel free to hit me up in-game or on RPR.
Voice is also always searching for new station intern applicants on behalf of Station Management. They will hire pretty much anyone - the job only requires that your character be willing to risk their life to get the scoop. Station Management will pay them minimum wage to go snooping around investigating the happenings of the city and/or make coffee runs for the station. (How internship works: I can give you RP prompts, such as "go interview the new hunter who just arrived in town" or "go investigate the graves that were dug up in the cemetary", or you can make up your own assignments for your character and ICly say they came from Voice. If I'm online, your character can also exchange texts or calls with Voice via whisper. When your character digs up some juicy gossip, whisper me a brief rundown of what happened and it will go into the next broadcast.
Interns are able to transport themselves to the radio station by closing their eyes and speaking the magic words "I have coffee." into their station-issued microphone. Warning: consequences may result if you enter the station and do not actually have coffee.)
Also, station merch is always available for your character to purchase! Whether it's a t-shirt, a hoodie, a coffee mug, or something else entirely, all your character has to do to generate a piece of VoV merchandise is go to a dark room, light a sandalwood candle, and burn a two dollar bill to ashes while slowly repeating the name of the item they desire. Almost any type of merchandise can be manifested through the candle ritual. Items may smell faintly of hazelnut coffee and eldritch forces. Mundanes can also purchase the items online.
Note: I play Voice with a semi-omniscient shtick, but I do try to stick to reporting things that could reasonably be observed by one of Voice's spies- I mean interns. These broadcasts are supposed to be all in good fun, so if I put something in a broadcast about your character that you don't want in there, just let me know and I'll remove it. -
